Welcome to Kenwood Permaculture
Permaculture is a design philosophy and
practical approach to sustainable living.
It encompasses a set of practices that help you create a
beautiful, ecological home and abundant, productive gardens.
Permaculture integrates the use of perennial and annual
plants with animals, shelter, soil and water management, wildlife
habitat, local climate, resource conservation and human needs to
create resilient, fertile, home-based eco-systems.
Permaculture is fun. It’s
creative, intelligent, and deeply satisfying.
Here at Kenwood Permaculture, we care deeply about the
environment and our community and want to do our share in preserving
and enhancing these precious resources.
Our mission is to educate and inspire others to take action.
If you would like to receive professional permaculture and garden
design assistance visit the website of Karen Boness at
Wild
Willow Landscape Design. Karen Boness cultivated, cared
for, designed and stewarded the gardens of Kenwood Permaculture for
its first six years (April 2004 through March 2010) of development.
